Educational Support

Educational Support is an extension of the Golden Valley faculty serving children with learning difficulties and special needs. These children may or may not be qualified for special education. Annual screening and the SST (Student Success Team) process are used to identify students who may be in need of instructional support and likely to respond to intervention. 

The program may include:

• access to core curriculum
• small group instruction
• research-based instructional programs
• frequent assessment
• extended time in needed subject area
• ongoing teacher collaboration
