Festival of Light
Overview
All are welcome to gather with our Golden Valley Community in a celebration of light. This festival occurs in mid-fall. The Faculty of our beloved River School would like to invite all River families, to celebrate the solstice by joining together!
Save the date for celebrating this festival on Saturday, November 4th from 4pm - 7pm.
May Festival & Picnic
Overview
Our Annual May Day Festival, Open House & Art Auction features a May Pole dance performed by our Eighth Grade students and an Art Auction sponsored by the Golden Valley Educational Foundation. The event is FREE and open to all Golden Valley families and families interested in learning about our school. This is an outdoor event with lawn area seating. Please bring your blankets, lawn chairs, umbrellas, picnic, and easy-up tents.
10 am - Crown making for the community
10 am - Preview of Art Auction items
11 am -Procession and May Pole dance begins
Noon - (or after dance ends) Art Auction in MP room
1 pm - 2 pm - Country Store
